Phase 1: Surge

The logic of our platform is built around three distinct phases that move a project from raw discovery to verified commitment. This process is designed to filter for intention, rewarding projects that are here to stay and curators who find them first.

Surge is a 24-hour entry window path for projects to be listed on the platform. During this phase a Curator identifies a project and commits 50,000 $SPT (TBC) to list it. This initial action places the project on the daily discover feed, making is visible to anyone that visits serpent.live. This gives the user a low barrier opportunity to have influence on the platform. Users can cast votes for any project in the surge without needing to sign into Serpent or spend $SPT.

These votes as a primary filter in which a project much reach a specific community threshold within 24 hours to stay on the platform. If a project fails to reach this it is automatically purged ensuring Surge never becomes a graveyard for low-interest launches.
